         欢迎大家参加南山中英文学校2015-2016第二学期开学典礼

         Welcome to attend the 2015--2016 the second semester Opening Ceremony of Nanshan International College.

         今天我演讲的题目是《心怀感恩，拥抱明天》。

         The topic of my speech is: Be grateful and embrace the future

        同学们，朝霞捧出了黎明，大地哺育了生灵，父母赐予我生命，生活赠予我真情……，所有这些，我们都应感恩。“感恩图报”历来就是中华民族的传统美德，儒家文化的“仁义礼智信，温良恭俭让”也包含着感恩的情结。这些良好的道德文化，传承了千年，也熏陶了人类千年。

       Sunglow holds out the dawn, the earth nurtures creatures, parents give us life, and life show us what the real love is... ,all of these, we should be grateful. And this is always the traditional virtues of the China.

        羊有跪乳之恩，鸦有反哺之义，人更应有感恩之情。那么，我们应该怎样感恩呢？其实，感激不一定要用眼泪，感恩不一定要讲排场，有时只需一句问候、一束鲜花、一次握手，甚至一个笑容。同学们，对于我们来说，感恩其实很简单——吃饭时，一粥一饭当思来之不易；穿衣时，半丝半缕恒念物力维艰。幸福时，感恩父母、老师、朋友和帮助你的人；快乐时，感恩痛苦；坚强时，感恩泪水；成功时，感恩失败……。所以，感恩就是，当你回家时，给父母的一声亲切呼唤，一个灿烂的笑容，在餐桌上，夹给父母的那一柱菜，当父母生病或劳累时，给父母由衷的嘘寒问暖；而在学校里，感恩就是，当老师讲课时，认真听课积极思考；当老师批评你时，虚心接受听从教诲；当你在行走中，碰到老师亲切问好。这一切都是如此简单，当这一切行动成为习惯，你会觉得这是一件轻松快乐的事，而世界也会因为有你而更精彩。   

       Even the animals know how to be grateful, let alone human beings. But how should we be thankful? Actually, it is not implicated.Sometimes just a greeting, a bunch of flowers, a handshake,or even a smile is enough. Thanksgiving is simple----when you are at home, give your parents a smile. In class, listen to teachers carefully. In the campus, say hello to teachers. You will feel happier when you do so, and the world will be more wonderful because of you.

      一位名人曾经说过：“生活是一面镜子，你笑他也笑，你哭他也哭”。你感恩生活，生活将赐予你灿烂的阳光；你不感恩，只知一味地怨天尤人，最终可能一无所有。一个有感恩之心的人，必然胸怀博大，知恩图报，助人为乐，会用一颗充满感恩的心去认知，去探索，去感悟。同学们，让我们学会感恩吧！感恩学校、感恩老师、感恩同学；感恩父母、感恩生活，感恩一切值得我们感恩的人和事，用一颗感恩的心去拥抱美好的明天吧！

Someone said: “ life is just like a mirror. When you smile to it. It will smile back”. Thanksgiving comes the same way. When you are grateful, life will be surrounded by sunshine. If you are not, it will turn out to be terrible. So dear schoolmates, let’s learn to be grateful. Let’s appreciate all those who appear in our life: our parents, our teachers, our school, and even those who hurt us. Let’s embrace the future with a grateful heart!

        作为九年级的学生，中考是我们即将面临的第一次重大挑战，我们九年级全体师生一定会齐心协力，以积极的心态去迎接它，全力以赴用骄人的成绩向学校、老师、父母汇报。同学们让我们把新的学期作为新的起点，以更饱满的学习热情，更踏实的学习作风投入到紧张而有序的学习生活中去吧！

       As Grade9 students, Senior High school entrance examination is the first big challenge for us. All the teachers and students in Grade9 will make a united effort to work hard together with positive attitude. We will try our best to make an impressive achievement to report to our school, teachers and parents in return. My classmates! Let’s set the new semester as our new starting point and immerse ourselves in the intense and orderly school life with great enthusiasm and earnest learning attitude.
